VOLSER

Krystian Serafin (VOLSER) is a conceptual artist based in Antwerp, working across sound, text and spatial installations.
Based in Belgium, his work investigates how disciplined bodies operate within systems of observation, evaluation and behavioural control.
Through sound cycles, written structures and spatial proposals, he develops environments where posture, pressure and alignment become visible conditions.
These works connect records, texts and installations into a single conceptual framework.

Selected Work

Catwalk Talk

Catwalk Talk investigates the runway as a structured environment where posture, rhythm and recognition are produced through trained movement and observation.
The project examines how visibility and evaluation shape behaviour inside controlled spaces.

Forced Deviation

Forced Deviation is a spatial project in the development. It begins from a simple condition: a foreign object introduced into an active pedestrian route. The work askshow movement reacts, adjusts and reorganises when continuity is interrupted. The focus is not the object itself, but the behaviour it produces over time. How deviation appears, repeats and potentially becomes part of the route.
