ABOUT

Krystian Serafin (VOLSER) is a conceptual artist investigating systems of discipline, observation and behavioural regulation through sound structures, textual scores and spatial installation.

His practice constructs systems that examine posture, discipline and signal behaviour within environments of observation and calibration. Many projects begin as structured sound cycles that later transform into spatial configurations where trained movement becomes visible as form.

The cycle Catwalk Talk studies the runway as a behavioural system in which recognition and hierarchy emerge through controlled movement. This structure extends into the installation Walk Module, where the final state of disciplined posture appears as sculptural form.

Alongside installation works, VOLSER develops textual and sound-poetry scores exploring glitch structures, latency and material resistance.

VOLSER lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium.
